OVERVIEW
Rise and Bid is a 3–6 player card game based on Genuine Undead NFTs. Two phases: Bidding and Selling. Most points wins.
PHASE 1 — BIDDING
Each player starts with a fixed pool of coins for the entire game. Each round, GU cards equal to the player count are revealed, sorted from highest to lowest value.
- All players secretly place a bid from their coin pool.
- You may pass (bid 0), but only twice in a row. The third consecutive pass you must bid at least 1. Exception: no coins → always allowed to pass.
- Bids are revealed simultaneously. Highest bidder is automatically assigned the best card. Ties broken by dice roll.
- Spent coins are gone — each leftover coin is worth 1 point at the end.
PHASE 2 — SELLING
Once all GU cards are distributed, the Selling phase begins. Hands are equalised — everyone keeps only their best GUs.
- Each round, ETH cheque cards appear on the table and a bonus colour is revealed.
- All players secretly pick one GU from their hand to sell.
- Highest total (GU value + colour bonus if it matches) wins the highest ETH cheque.
- If the timer runs out, the lowest GU in your hand is sold automatically.
SCORING
- Points from ETH cheques collected during selling.
- Each leftover coin = 1 point.
- Tiebreak: player with the highest combined GU card value wins.
Tip: Don't overbid early — unspent coins are worth points at the end. Watch the colour bonus before selling; a lower GU in the right colour can beat a higher one.
